Further proof the NRA National Riffle Association are a group of liars, cheats, and thieves.

If you are a firearm owner and supporter and this doesn’t piss you off nothing will. NRA members need to leave that crocked group. We try not to use foul language in this blog. But, this video makes me so mad I could spit bullets. Please forgive the pun.

The evidence seems to be presented in the video that the NRA is playing politics, abandoning their no compromise policy. You be the judge.

Now Personally I take several types of anti depressants to help me sleep because of massive insomnia. I have for more then half my life. Let them try to say I am a danger because of that and try to take my guns. They will then see what dangerous really is. By the way this bill is completely unconstitutional and thus not legal. Because of that anyone trying to take my guns and ammo are attempting to steal from me. And thus I will respond with deadly force.

Happy Veterans day

We here at the Guns and Ammo Enthusiast Blog would like to thank all of our veterans, currently serving in the military, and no longer serving. As well as those who have left us. We say Thank You to those people throughout Americas history. Thank you all. And Thank You to the families of said members of the military. Without you the soldiers job would next to impossible.

NRA (National Riffle Association) late to the party and trying to take credit for said party

I personally are really begining to HATE these guys.

We keep seeing reports of the gallant NRA rushing in to sue Seattle’s mayor over an unconstitutional law. There is a small problem with said suit. The Washington STATE attorney has ALREADY said it NOT only violates the second amendment of the US constitution, but, it violates the Washington STATE constitution as well. Hence the law is not valid and thus not enforceable. So as far as it goes the law does not exist. So the police can not enforce the law, if they try to they stand to be sued civilly and open to prosecution by the attorney general of the state of Washington.
So basically the NRA is spending it’s members money and trying to get headlines showing they support gun rights, when, in actuality the case has already be resolved by the attorney general. There is ABSOLUTLY nothing to be gained here. All that can be gained here is the NNRA can say “we fought for and won Seattle gun owners rights” join the NRA and we will do the same all over the country. The actual truth here is they will when NOTHING but a court ruling saying the NRA filed a brief and the court aggress that the NRA’s point was agreed upon by the Washington State Attorney General. Basically the NRA will be giving themselves a virtual hand job.
Anyone could have filed the lawsuit and won. The win is as fake as the NRA itself. They both are as fake as the belief that the world was flat of several hundred years ago, and as fake as the Y2K ending of the world scam. All this is, is a scam. A scam put forth by the outgoing Seattle mayor and a scam put forth by the NRA since the issue has already been determined by the state attorney general. Do not buy into the hype.

What the HELL is the NRA (National Riffle Association) doing sticking it’s nose in the business of a state trying to change it’s state bird?

What the HELL is the NRA (National Riffle Association) doing sticking it’s nose in the business of a state trying to change it’s state bird? What the HELL does this have to do with firearm issues?

The mockingbird is all over the place in American culture: called out in the lullaby “Hush Little Baby,” referenced metaphorically in the Harper Lee novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” and its subsequent film version, honored as the state bird of Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Florida.

But in recent years, Florida has become less and less comfortable with sharing its state bird with so many nearby states, so it’s embarked on a mission to oust the mockingbird and replace it with a less popular mascot.

It won’t succeed, if National Rifle Assn. lobbyist Marion Hammer has anything to say about it.

Hammer, it turns out, is a devout supporter of the mockingbird, saying recently that she is “unequivocally opposed to changing the state bird.” Mockingbirds, she has noted repeatedly over the years, have a number of qualities to recommend them. They’re common in Florida, staunch defenders of their nests even against larger birds and are impressive mimics.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission offered schoolchildren the chance to vote on a new state bird, with close to 30,000 voting for the osprey, a fish-eating raptor whose wingspan often reaches 4 to 6 feet. The commission recommended a switch from the mockingbird to the osprey, but Hammer is fighting it tooth and nail. (One objection: The osprey is found only in coastal areas, whereas the mockingbird can be spotted all over the state.)

St. Petersburg Times correspondent Daniel Ruth scoffs at Hammer’s opposition. “You would think [Hammer] would be more than in favor of replacing the state bird with the noble, formidable osprey,” Ruth wrote recently. “After all, with a nearly 6-foot wingspan, it’s a bigger target.” Indeed, the number of potential jokes referring to Hammer’s NRA affiliation is staggering, but she insists she opposes the state-bird change on her own account, not the organization’s.

Still, it’s hard not to see parallels between Hammer’s views and the NRA’s, especially when one takes into account a similar fight Hammer fought against another bird, the Florida scrub jay, back in 1999 and 2000. The scrub jay, having the distinction of being the only bird species endemic to Florida, would seem a cracker-jack choice for official state bird.

Not so, according to Hammer, who argued voraciously against the species on the grounds of traits she viewed as major character flaws unfitting a state mascot.

On this the Eighth anniversary off the attacks on the world trade centers and pentagon (9/11) just some thoughts

No matter how you feel about the government, current and past president’s, or the war in total, there are a few things you MUST do. Always respect and show reference for the USA troops who are overseas in the war zone. We have an ALL volunteer military. Those men and women are doing what they are ordered to do. (Trust me my brother is in the Army. For I know where I speak.)

We should also remember those who lost their lives in New York, Washington DC, Pennsylvania. Including the pilots, crew, and all of those poor people in the plains. This is a day of remembrance. Please keep all those mentioned above and everyone who has lost their lives fighting on OUR behalf in the middle east, in your thoughts and prayers on this day.

Has the NRA EVER been on the right side of the constitution?

We here at the Guns and Ammo Enthusiast Blog are for the constitution as written today. We are for the Bill of Right’s, and for the Amendment’s to the Constitution. To that end, we have seen the NRA (National Rifle Association) the biggest so called “gun rights” group in the country today, support laws that plan in fact volate the constitution. Below are just a few.

The Federal Firearms Act of 1938 places the first limitations on selling ordinary firearms. Persons selling guns are required to obtain a Federal Firearms License, at an annual cost of $1, and to maintain records of the name and address of persons to whom firearms are sold. Gun sales to persons convicted of violent felonies were prohibited. Supported by the NRA Not to mention the 1984 and 1986 laws prohibiting fully automatic firearma again. Again as we have said violates the secondamendment.

Amendment 2: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
No where does it state anything about the number, type, or anything else. Simple “The Right of the People to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT be infringed. So every single law they (the NRA) has supported violates this law.

Amendment 10: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
RE: National Concealed Carry Reciprocity or National Reciprocity act of 2009. Forcing the states to excepts permits from other states no matter the state. This attempted law this year was a major violation of the Amendment

So again I ask. Is the NRA ever on the correct side of the constitution? If you know of one please post it here!

Dear NRA members. Further proof the NRA does NOT care about the second amendment, or your firearm rights

Millions of Americans have joined the NRA, send money for dues and are solicited many times each year for donations to assist with the legal rights of gun owners- or so they say. Well, they are paying their lawyers all right, but not to defend the rights of those they claim to represent.
On October 8th, in a case before the District of Columbia Federal Court, NRA attorney Stephen Halbrook made the following statements to the Court in response to the Judge claiming the right of government to place restrictions on the right to bear arms.
“YOUR HONOR, WE ARE HERE WANTING TO REGISTER HANDGUNS. WE ARE NOT HERE WANTING UNRESTRICTED ACCESS. WE’RE NOT HERE ASKING TO CARRY THEM, OTHER THAN IN THE HOME.
Later in the proceedings there was this exchange.

THE COURT: YOU’RE SAYING THAT THE GOVERNMENT CAN IMPOSE REASONABLE RESTRICTIONS?
MR. HALBROOK: YES, YOUR HONOR. YES, YOUR HONOR.”

The complete annotated transcripts of the hearing can be found here.

For many years the NRA has been selling us out to the government. They have supported every restriction government could concoct to limit the right of citizens of this country to own and carry firearms. I documented this fact in an article over two years ago. (Republished here)

Not so long ago I was having an email exchange with a writer at another site on the subject of the NRA sell out. I was amazed when this former law enforcement officer, who claims the Second Amendment is the “backbone” of freedom, said he would continue to support the NRA because they have a good youth education program (Eddie Eagle) and you had to be a member to belong to most gun clubs. Hey, Idiot, what damn good is that going to be when we can no longer own a firearm!

Folks, it is time to fish or cut bait. Without the right to own and carry firearms we are done. If you perchance are waiting for those freedom-loving Republicans to come to your aid, please send me a note from the gulag. At least the democrats tell you they are going to take your guns if they get the opportunity.

If you are standing around waiting on the “pretend to be Christian” to stand up for us by doing away with the assault weapons ban right before the election next year – don’t forget to take your Prozac.

Just like the NRA, we give the government power by recognizing and supporting it. It then uses our money to make them more rich and powerful and to ultimately sell us out and enslave us.

Just keep voting and sending money to the turncoats like the NRA. Life as an unarmed slave will be your just reward.

Perhaps they will let you watch as your daughters and wives are sold to the highest bidder, but probably not, as you will not have been seen for several years if you are a threat to government as a former gun-rights zealot. Just can’t beat that” Patriot Act”.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is a sure sign of insanity.

Don’t forget to put that tooth under your pillow!
