@ Mykle Mckee. I placed my order on exactly January 14th to, for the 16″ J&S upper kit. It’s March 16th now, past 2 months, and all I get is that the supplier is back ordered for some parts to finish them. I love how it was listed 7 in stock when I ordered. If it goes to the end of march with no good news, i’m gonna have to cancel my order and go with a BCM or something else. I hate this wishy washy waiting game when you pay alot of money.

Have any of you guys waiting on your uppers received them? I ordered mine on Jan. 14th. Here it is March 2nd, and I have been told 3 times on the phone that it will “ship this week”. At this point I just want to know that eventually I will get what I ordered.

I ordered some lowers and trigger kits from J&S. Some of the stuff was outta stock when I ordered. I knew that before I ordered. An was told it was on order and it shipped in less than a week. I was well pleased with customer service and my ship time. An will be making another order in a few weeks. I would recommend them to anyone. Tennessee Fan of J&S Gun Parts !!!!!!!

Customer service is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!! I placed my order on Dec. 27th and didn’t receive my package until Jan.13th, so when I opened the box it my order wasn’t complete, on my delivery receipt it said will ship out on the 12th, so I decided to call them today (14th) to check up on it and they told me “oh sure we’ll ship it out today” WTF? they have also hung up on me twice…..

The prices are great but this place is being ran by bad employees!!!!!

Follow up: I was able to make contact by phone and the basic problem was that the barrels for the uppers were delayed from the manufacture. Very helpful once I got them on the phone and once the order shipped, tracking information was received promptly. I wish there web site reflected actual in stock items, but the last custom part I ordered from another manufacture took 6 months to get here, so actually 4 1/2 weeks is not that bad. I would much rather get a good complete part than a flashy web site, so in the end, for a small business I would still recommend them.

Ordered an upper 3 weeks ago, have left a voice mail (no return call) and an e-mail at the 3 weeks time frame. I know this is a busy time, but customer contact is pretty important. I’m still holding out hope that they will step up to the plate and deliver, but the Hopey-changey thing is not my style. I will follow up with another phone call until I get to talk to a real person. As I said before this is a busy time of year and a busy industry, but I think customer service for the on-line guys needs a little lubrication.

My dad and I both bought two J&S uppers at the Big Reno Show yesterday. Price was $475 each at the show. Saw other similar setups for $400, but liked the better ‘salesmanship’ of J&S. I’ll admit we had not heard of them, nor really done much homework, but we talked them into a ‘deal’ of $500 for the upper and a set of Magpull back up flip up sights. Imagine my surprise when I got home and the J&S web price for my package, with shipping was $15 less than I paid cash at at the show, $30 total. Now no matter how much I might like my setup, I’ll always feel burned. It’s not so much the $30, but I would have liked to at least gotten their web pricing. So much for gun-enthusiast comraderie.

They will not answer emails. When you order they promise a tracking number which I never got. It’s been 7 days since I ordered and the only sure thing I know about them is they charged my debit card.

Not having a good experience ordering with them online ATM. I am hoping they will get their act together. I discussed building a 9mm upper with their staff by email and then shipped a fake suppressor to them to complete the build. Every week I call and get told ” next week” It has been a month and I still have no idea when or if it will be completed. I will repost here if they manage to get things done.
